There are drawbacks to 3D-TV?
3D is set to explode on the market technology, billions of dollars for producers. With his phenomenal technique and needless to say, its very clever advertising, technology companies are cashing in many of the explosion in popularity of 3D technology. If you are at home on TV is considering the establishment of a 3-to yours, then there are some things you should consider leaving.
The first thing you need to do is to weigh on thePositive and negative, that are equipped with 3D TV, and certainly there are some problems, the mind that are worth the lead.
First let's look at some of the disadvantages.
PRICE
The first major disadvantage is that television is provided with the purchase of a 3 is pretty obvious. With advanced technology, it would be unrealistic to expect to buy a good market for a price.
OPTIONS
Yet another disadvantage that the television comes with owning a 3D is that you have very limitedOptions, unless you buy some other device. For a television transmission format standard is very rare in 3D, you should buy a plan for cable, broadcast in 3D format. In addition to this there is the problem with DVD playback. If a standard DVD player will not be able to go to see your DVD, you are going to have to buy a Blu-Ray DVD player with 3D features.
LIGHTING
A mishap thatYou should take into account, is important, but does not apply to all 3D TV is on the market. This error is the fact that some 3D 3D TV tend to produce too much glare when you see a show or a movie. This is usually not a problem, but can be very annoying when trying to see something, and can also damage your eyes and give you a headache. That is, as mentioned above, 's do not apply to all 3D-TV.
As you can see, there aremargins of several 3D-TV, he must do to keep in mind when you are considering buying a house in 3D television. It 'possible that there are many other faults that have not yet discovered how the 3D technology is very much a work in progress. If you plan to proceed with the purchase, then it would be appropriate to consider all options and look at some reviews on the web. There are many different options available to you and taking into accountthe price is certainly not a wise idea to go directly into it.

720p Vs 1080i HDTV
Is 720p vs 1080th worth worrying about? Yes and no. If you are a consumer looking for a new television, you are welcome to skip the debate because every 1080th vs 720p HDTV Ready, which is described as HDTV or is required to support both formats.
Note: You should be aware however that many TVs support 1080i have fewer than 1080 lines, and so the scale 1080 signal down. This is not a big problem when scaled down 1080i is far ahead of a regular NTSC signal. It isremember that more expensive HDTVs tend to have better scalers less expensive, and this can be a problem.
But for broadcasters, is a hot topic. Should provide 1080 lines of interlaced video or 720 lines progressive scan? They could send only two signals, one to use in any format, but it would be a big part of the bandwidth and extremely expensive for very little gain.
To answer your question, it is important to understand the difference between 720pvs 1080i. A 720p signal consists of 720 horizontal lines. Each frame in its entirety is displayed on the screen for 1/30th of a second. This is known as progressive (hence the 'p') scan, the quality is as little as 30 photographs, images per second on TV. A 1080i signal comprises 1080 horizontal lines but all lines are displayed on the screen simultaneously. Instead, they are interlaced (hence the 'i'), or all other lines is displayed for 1/60th of a second and then the alternate linesdisplayed for 1/60th of a second. Thus, the frame rate is 30 frames per second, but each image is divided into two areas, which then makes your brain unconsciously shared together.
Most of the time interlacing works fine, but for fast moving images like sports such as baseball and hockey may have problems that cause an effect "stepping" on the screen. Progressive scan signals do not have this problem and are therefore more suitable for this sport.
ESPN leads this way:Progressive scan technology produces better images for the orientation of the fast-sports television. In short, better with 104 mph fastballs in baseball and 120 mph shots on goal in hockey, scan line by line of advanced technology detects the rapid action of pure sport. For ESPN, progressive scan technology makes perfect sense. "
Bottom line? For us as consumers 1080th vs 720p is not a debate worth worrying about, so you can relax and concentrate on all otherPolicy on your list when you buy your next HDTV.

Learn all about 3D TV
3D TV is the kind of television that projects a TV show in a three-dimensional field. For example, you can see a science fiction movie on TV and suddenly the bad guy throws a bomb to the hero. The explosions of bombs and the ruins and small particles of rock are flying next to you. Yes, you can move your head quickly, but that's part of the experience and yes, that is, what does a 3D TV. In short, the 3D TV is the new face of funwhere you live, what you see on the screen and just do not see.
3D projections are days in practice, since the time when photography was just beginning in the nineteenth century. From the first stereoscope, which could kinematoscope 3D photos, probably in 1922 is the first 3D film, the days of advanced technology has given us the previous LCD, plasma HDTV and thus our living rooms adorned with a screen likeGiants such as the size of the entire wall a few inches thick, with an incredible image quality.
Therefore, the question of what the TV-maker next door? What is the right way from here? The answer lies in 3D-TV, where I play and characters in the film around practically in your living room! Do what technologies or techniques really go after the 3D TV that may be the case:
• Anaglyph
• Polarization
• Alternate FrameSequencing
• autostereoscopy
Anaglyph images composed of two layers produced in two different colors of red and cyan, overlaps another, but slightly offset to give the required depth. 3D glasses are two to two colors that the human eye in any color. The brain then fuses the two images in a realistic three-dimensional image.
Polarization on the other hand, refers to the orientation of certain vibration waveswhat are their specific directions of vibration and propagation. Examples of such waves are electromagnetic waves and sound waves. This is commonly used in 3D movies, but it is not uncommon, with 3D TVs.
For alternate frame sequencing, TV program, filmed with the camera 3D movies or more than one. Then these images are arranged on a strip of film one eye in an alternative order. That is, the left and right eye images are placed one after the otherand the film is twice the frames per second measurement cycle. They are usually a term of 48 frames per second instead of the usual 24 frames per second.
In addition, this agreement all you need to open the super-LCD glasses with radio receiver, the guide and the glass and close the lens of the eye in rapid sequence corresponding to the image on the screen is replaced.

Select HDMI and component video for more than HDTV and Blu-ray Disc
High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is state-of-art wireless technology, so that the uncompressed audio and video signals) from the transfer source device directly to your high-definition television (HDTV. Instead of a tangled series of connections as with DVI or component video (red / green / blue jacks) with HDMI audio and video transmission, with only a small shrub.
And as all of you for all as the Buyerthis complicated technology? This means that you only need a cable, do not buy more as it did in the past to connect the HDMI source devices (such as a Blu-ray disc player, Xbox 360, Wii, HD cable or satellite, the new A / V Surround, etc.) to the HD TV.
It could not be easier. Your video is an amazing 1080p resolution, and will also be discreet uncompressed surround sound experience that is unbeatable. But some people find themselves "TheComponent video cable to the device I have now seems to work fine with my new HDTV. "And the fact is that most of the time, that's the truth. It will not be able, together with the component video cable to connect a reader Blu-ray with a new HDTV and get all the new media will give you HD. on a TV, the rate is greater than fifty, the transition to Blu-ray and go up to 1080p, as always, wash the windows. Yes, it is can see through itappropriate now, but if they can see a nice difference.
Another reason to use HDMI connections is its compatibility with the new A / V Digital Surround Receiver. It 'can get the Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master audio track via HDMI. The Toslink optical digital and coaxial cable to achieve this goal, and you will be amazed by how much better is that your normal DVD surround soundtrack. Types of HDTV recorders
After an HDTV can always change the way you watch TV. However, it does not change. For example, you can still continue to record your TV shows and movies. You just have to have a HDTV recorder.
There are different types of HDTV recorder. One of the DVD recorder with ATSC tuner. This is the same type of tuner, built in high definition televisions, which means that your DVD recorder digital signals over-the-air to receive the funds, includinghigh-definition broadcast signals, which in turn allows them to register.
Despite this, however, the signals are scaled and still recorded in standard definition format, and not a high-definition format, since they are stored on a standard DVD. This means that you will not be able to get to their original format in HD if you want to see them play, though, the video quality is almost the same, if your DVD burner has a scaling function.
Another type of HDRecorder is the high-definition digital video recorder or HD DVR. Like standard DVR, HD DVR lets you view and record your favorite programs, or even more. The only difference is that they are programmed to receive and store high-definition broadcast signals, as well as analog. HD DVR can be bought by TV companies and satellite / cable, often as an update or a subscription, but add they can also be purchased separately.
Currently, the TiVo HD DVRchoice, because they do it to pause, rewind or fast forward your favorite TV show or even in slow motion so you do not have to miss a detail. TiVo offers dual-tuner, you can record one show while another agent - something that is not the most expensive Sony HD DVR. One good thing about the Sony HD DVR, though, as the DHG-HDD250 and DHG-HDD500 is to save more hours - 30 or 60 hours, respectively - andprovide an on-screen Electronic Program (EPG) for free.
HDTV internal tuner or HDTV tuner cards, the cards are also available as PC-tuner or video capture recorders and HDTV capabilities. As some HD DVR, you can pause live some HD content as well. These functions, except for the lowest price, because some people prefer the more external HD tuner or a regular set-top box. However, they have some disadvantages, too, like the fact thatYou must have a computer and are difficult to install.
Once installed, however, HDTV tuner card can help you record your favorite shows to a disk that does not scale down to it - if you get a Blu-Ray installed on your computer, that. This is because we can get it, save it to a Blu-Ray instead of a normal DVD - BD-R disc or a disposable or reusable BD-RE - which is capable of providing content in Full HD 1080p.You can only if the disc in a Blu-Ray or a reader.
Now that you know the HDTV recorder available, it is up to you to decide which HDTV recorder, it does so depending on which you are most comfortable with is that you or fits your budget. No matter what kind of choice, but remember that HDTV recorder, you can enhance your viewing experience and personnel to be used in copyright law does not apply to the proceeds of whichLaws.

The 523 1080p Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 LCD TV is simply an amazing set
The 52 "1080p Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 LCD TV is simply an amazing set. This is one of the best 52" LCD HDTV out there. This sentence is loved by many and you can control all over the internet and you will see that I'm not lying. Sony Bravia has its own better and better with each version of the new model. If you are looking for an HDTV 52 "LCD and this is in your family, which may be the best of it.
First, we want to talk about how the KDL-52W3000 offersaesthetics. The metal brush finish is a classic look that reflects light and absorbs really do not like the 46V3000, when the piano black to find distraction. The stand does not pivot as the 46V2500, but that only a small bad thing compared to what you can do for your child.
We talk about the image, the part that everyone wants to know. Let me say that the picture quality of Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 LCD TV HD is simply amazing in L 'The image is vibrant and the Live Color Creation "gimmick" is not a trick. The colors are rich, vivid and life like, almost to the point that it is in 3D, especially when watching animated films like Ratatouille and Cars. The viewing angle is excellent and the screen does not have scandals and has no problems playing in a room full of sunshine.
I recommend HDMI 1.3 Category 2 cables, so the TV can display more colors. standard definition is good and do not worry most LCD HDTVs out there.Look almost like HD DVD, when paired with the player Oppo up-converting DVD. The refresh rate is 60Hz, but there is little or no difference compared side by side with the XBR4 120Hz. Motion blur in LCD TVs is usually normal, but the Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 does a good job to keep to a minimum. If you want to capture all the uncertainties, disable noise reduction to eliminate them.
The Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 audio quality is above average, especially if you adjust the soundsame, the S-Force Front Surround rotate and lift to strengthen the voice. The stock TV speakers not to make you feel like you're in a movie theater, but it is not good enough if you want a home theater system, even if you should get. The Sony DAV-HDX500 / I BRAVIA Home Theater System is a good compromise.
Get the 52 "Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 LCD TV as the XBR4 is expensive. This set is the next best thing, if your budget is. I remember now, with HDMI 1.3 Cableobtain the best possible colors, because this TV supports. Have fun and do not forget to look the other way to switch from television to get up and about once in a while, because this TV will suck in the world can see how you're looking through a window all the time.

3-D DLP HDTV
3D is a new interesting feature for the home theater market. For some drama or soap opera, 3D might seem out of place. But for sports, action movies, etc. vs. 3D is very different in black and white. And the 3-D technology is higher than the new 3D system that was used in theaters.
The commercial successes of recent 3D films like "Beowulf" "Meet the Robinsons" and "Journey to the Center of the Earth," iswith the studios for the production of 3D content material sparks interest. Disney, Universal, Philips, Samsung, Sony, Thomson and IMAX are currently examining the potential 3D HDTV market. Disney said it would start all their computer-film 'in 3D animation. According to Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, all major studios have 3D projects. It will be more than 2,500 screens equipped with digital 3D theater technologyEnd of 2009. All this content will be available for the home theater market. The big question: will the pervasive enough market for 3D large networks, especially the part of sports broadcasting in 3D?
3D distribution
It 's probably the first satellite-television companies like DirecTV and Dish Network programming, distribute versions of 3D HDTV. 3D films are all about to take the same bandwidth as the other 120 fps (framessecond) high def movies. The satellite companies have enough broadcast bandwidth to support niche markets (the cable companies do not), and for now, 3D HDTV is a niche market.
"Satellite's going to be constrained not so much by how many channels they can carry than by how many they can get," said Bob Scherman, Satellite Business News.
By 2010, it is projected that 60% of TV receivers in the United States will use a satellite signal, up from 15% in 2002.
3D HDTV Home Theater Systems
Because of the high frame rate for 3D, and the need for synchronization, LCD screens are generally incompatible with advanced 3D. However, prototypes by Phillips have been demonstrated at upwards of $20,000, and this technology does not require glasses. The Phillips technology is optically very complicated. Unlike electronics, it cannot be assumed that the price will come down.
By the end of this year (2008), more than one million 3D ready DLP HDTVs, manufactured by Mitsubishi and Samsung, will have been sold in the U.S. The technology functions by supplying a 60 Hz signal to each eye (equivalent to 120 Hz total). These sets can display standard HDTV, and are compatible with 3D material. Some source material is available for download, and Blu-Ray 3D discs are becoming available. "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert" was the first 3D Blu-ray Disc.
The Glasses: Field Sequential 3D
Special glasses are used with the DLP 3D system. The system is called "Field Sequential 3D" or HQFS (High Quality Field Sequential). This technology uses electronic shutter glasses instead of red-blue lenses we are used to at the movies. The effect is definitely superior. Our eyes see a slightly offset view of a scene. The two slightly different views are combined by the brain to result in our ability to see in 3D. Field Sequential 3D simulates this experience with shutter glasses. The shutter is not mechanical, but instead an LCD filter, that blocks vision when the opposite eye's view is shown.
A HDTV set with 120 Hz refresh rate is recommended for 3D viewing. The 3D system uses half of the total information for each eye. If we use a TV with a total of 60 Hz refresh rate, it would supply only 30 Hz to each eye, and that refresh rate would be visible (flicker).
When designing a 3D system with previous 3D techniques, we have the choice of either sending two equal bandwidth signals with full information, effectively doubling the signal bandwidth, or sending the signal such that either the horizontal or vertical resolution is halved, one half for each eye. Doubling the bandwidth would be a problem since the HDTV signal bandwidth capacity is already at a premium. Using the same bandwidth as non-3D material means that we can use the latest technology with HDMI or DVI interfaces.
The alternative for the resolution is to cut off-putting, because we worked so hard to improve our high-definition, we do not want to jeopardize. The use of alternative frames for each eye, we see a high definition signal without flicker.
Two sets of wireless glasses, with a transmitter (infrared (IR), the same technology as the TV remote control) costs about $ 100.
"Hang-upHolding on DLP
Many consumers have a fascination with the idea of hanging their new big screen HDTV on the wall like a painting. It is worth noting that most LCD and plasma TV has never really great mounted on the wall to get there. It 's a great challenge, something that weighs 60-150 pounds on the wall, and once installed, is a constant challenge for the maintenance (for example, a 50-inch Pioneer PDP-5070HD weighs 128 pounds).
According to the NPD Group, only13 percent of current LCD TV owners and 25 percent of plasma TV owners have installed their unit on the wall.
DLP is popular among those who want to monitor more high image quality at affordable prices. For the money, the DLP light provides the highest value for size. An LCD of the same size and price is not the picture quality of DLP. DLP is also available in screen sizes larger LCD then.
However, a DLP rear projection television a few inches thick compared to a LCDor plasma. LCDs are generally 7-10 cm thick, pre-set DLP are usually 12-17 cm thick. Because of the appeal of their sentences on the wall mounting, this difference of a few centimeters of the deciding factor for many consumers purchasing decisions.
Texas Instruments DLP chip that produces in a foundry in South Korea sees the potential for renewed technology that uses tiny mirrors on a semiconductor. The new engine called PhlatLight LED "(produced byLuminus replaced), the arc lamp and the front wheel of the DLP HDTV color design. Samsung had its owner LED lamp for a few years. The LED engine should be replaced often (in contrast to the cold cathode fluorescent lamps, which had to be replaced every few years).
DLP HDTV with an LED engine are more energy efficient similar-sized flat panel displays and the lack of a color wheel in motion design, leading to less noise. DLPChip is faster than any other HDTV technology, with the mirrors switching on and off over 15,000 times per second to provide a sporty image without blurring for fast moving images like.
DLP HDTVs are a very good choice for most people, but selective. Many of the HDTVs in the stores do not have major technologies, like LED backlighting.
The compatibility of the TV and 3D can be re-checked with the search for an item onUnits, with "3D Ready".
Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC)
An important trend in home theater is the integration of the personal computer (PC) with the home theater. The integration of a PC in the home entertainment center has many advantages as well as enabling 3D video. Downloading movies is one of the benefits. The HTPC should be a graphics card with DVI (Digital Video Interface). Both XP and Vista, the Microsoft productfor home theater.
3D and HDTV video is computationally intensive, so a high-performance computers. For the 720p, is a dual-core microprocessor needed, 1080p or 1080i video requires a quad-core chip for video playback smooth. Video files are very large (!), So the bigger the hard drive, the better.
DirectX 9 graphics driver (software) must be installed if not already exist. In order to upgrade to "Start" and then "Run" from theWindows desktop. Type "dxdiag" in the "Run".
Software from multiple vendors, "stereo" (version 1.3.4) is available from 3DTV.at. Acquisition of stereo is about $ 50. While you're there 3DTV.AT also download the MPEG-1 / 2 decoder GPL. The alternatives to a stereo system are "Dynamic Digital Depth (ddd.com)," Stereoscopic Player "and" TriDef Visualizer. "
Summary
3D technology has become a driving force in Hollywood. E 'likelyThis trend is repeated in the home theater. CRT and DLP-work best with the 3D technology, even though the plasma systems are also available. DLP offers better value with large HDTV screens, not just 3D HDTV.

Which is better? EDTV vs HDTV
all are with the new digital format, it is no wonder that there is considerable confusion about EDTV and HDTV. First of all, EDTV stands for Enhanced Definition Television, while HDTV stands for High Definition Television. TV with one of these formats are provided capable of receiving and potraying images digitally - both have excellent image quality of standard TV (SDTV).
Which is better, EDTV orHDTV>?
This is a question that appears quite often, it really is a simple answer: HDTV is better. EDTV, however, was meant to be a real contender for the HDTV standard, but rather a transition technology was not a player, but not all the way as high-definition HDTV. And Enhanced Definition Television (HDTV), but not enough offer the exceptional quality of life attributed to the real High Definition Television (HDTV), the image is actuallythan normal. HDTV Television HDTV is closer to an impressive 720 progressive scan (1280x720 pixels) or 1080 interlaced (1920x1090 pixels) lines. It 'easy requirements for high-definition broadcasts. EDTV, on the other hand, displays pictures at 480 progressive scan (640x480 pixels), which is the highest resolution available on DVD. In fact, EDTV for the DVD looks better. However, this suggests that it is simply not a serious limitation EDTV,can indicate a higher resolution of HD content.
Our recommendation is that when buying a new TV, check that an "HD-ready". E 'likely that all broadcasts be a transition to true HDTV format within the next ten years or so. I warn you, though, that you need to buy a tuner set-top box with an external ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) to receive digital HDTV programming. Cables Many satellite providers, ifProvide HDTV content, it can offer free tuner. One final note, you should buy an LCD TV, as most are HDTV ready, and this is the best job in the beautiful display HD images.

Examine how 3D for your home theater?
As we all think television is standard in high definition governing the company shed a new level of fun for all consumers. This means, 3D high-definition HD is the only thing that power can be better than that. So this is the way to create a new HDTV, Cooler, add 3D.
This whole process has a disadvantage, even though most people just went to the HD from its normal high-definition television. All this is a decentInvestment and then add the HD channels and the costs add up. So, you have to decide if its worth the 3D itself, it really depends if you are truly the coolest and newest creations.
Some people have the latest gadgets, if you can come on the market. They are the ones who are in the queue when the iPad is released at midnight on Tuesday. They are the ones that trade on their phones every four months if the newer model comes out. Youwere also those who have visited in four years on Sunday afternoon, football in high definition before they finally bite the bullet and you always see their set-up.
You know, even if the consumer population for the technology are not the only ones to benefit from people who buy them. It will soon be in their house when they look like 3D avatars, and you will be playing next year, when Shark Week is broadcast in 3D. This is the point if youHDTV then this can be on the market for one of these 3D. There are many people who appreciate the 3D technology, but are not sure to wear the funny glasses, is concerned could cause a headache or are uncomfortable.
This problem has probably already been approached by the producers, so that the special glasses are not required. But it can happen to cause a number of people continue to buy for their home theater systems. Some new 3DThe technology is already under way, Nintendo will release a 3D handheld game console in 2011 and will not have to play the odd show.

I need an HDTV antenna for my HDTV?
With the growing interest in HDTV and digital television, there are many traders looking for TV to tell people that they need to buy a new antenna when purchasing a new one. This is not necessarily true, because there is no such thing as an HDTV antenna or a digital antenna. An antenna is basically just a piece of wire, and can not tell the difference between analog and digital transmission. What really matters is whether you have a digital tuner or analog antenna to havetelevision or integrated into the TV.
But you must have seen a particular type of antenna to a digital transmission, as things stand today. You know the difference between VHF (channels 2-13) and UHF (14-83). Currently, the vast majority of TV stations are broadcasting digitally with the UHF range, the solution of the analog to digital is as simple as a UHF antenna, or a combination VHF / UHF. Fortunately, almost every antennaavailable UHF signals received, this really is a non-issue.
It is very likely that the TV channels at last beginning to the VHF band used for digital broadcasting, as there is no technical reason not to, but no one knows for sure yet. So the best solution is to receive broadcasts a UHF antenna for all-digital TV and HDTV. If the local analog broadcasts between now and February 2009 (the switch analog to digital) you want to see, what you get Not even VHF.
EvenEven if the antennas are designed to receive digital or analog broadcasts, the world of television is digital, so manufacturers are starting to fit better antenna design in the digital world. With an antenna of the digital age with digital TV makes the whole experience to do a little 'more user friendly. So if you buy a new HDTV, somehow have to buy a new antenna, but not quite. For more information on HDTV antennas andIn general, control a useful HDTV Info Web site.

We decided to go HD after a long time of waiting. We, for a very long time, used a Toshiba Rear-projection TV at 50" in our living room. We decided that we would need a TV large enough to take the place of that TV and to make it not look so small. DLP is the right choice for this since you can get a much larger screen size at a lower cost than LCD or Plasma. Since we had good luck with our other rear-projection, we figured that we would have good luck with this TV. Having it for a month now, there have been no issues and our view experience is great. The matted screen makes glares much less harsh (our old TV had a glossy screen). The wight of this TV is extremely light for its size, our friend has a 42" LCD which is much heavier than this. As long as you're planning to put the TV on a stand, the lack of it being a flat panel shouldn't be a big deal. 1080p content through our Xbox 360 is very detailed and sharp and the TV never lags behind nor have I seen any "rainbow effect" from this TV during normal viewing. The only con with this TV is the build in speakers to the TV are very tinny and all around subpar. Although if you use this TV hooked up to an AV receiver you will have no issues, you buy a TV for the picture, not the sound. All around I am very happy we bought this TV. I've had nothing but good luck with Mitsubishi, in fact, we still own an old Mitsubishi console color TV from the early 80s that works perfectly. You should have no regrets in buying this DLP HDTV.

Cheap Panasonic TC-P65VT25 65-inch 3D Ready 1080p VIERA Plasma HDTV Discount Review Shop
The key to selecting tv is asking what you want this tv for. LCD tv's are lighter, use less energy, costs have come way down, no screen burn in to worry about. However, Plasma tv's are still cheaper, have greater viewing angles, and produce vastly better picture quality. LCD's have come a long way, but they can not reproduce the deep, rich blacks of a plasma. LCD tv's produce pictures that are bright, crisp, and sharp. Most often, you'll find LCD's displaying animated films in store demo mode. The reason is b/c animated films are supposed to be sharp and creased and bright, and are good matches for LCD's. I like films, and plasma's do a much better job displaying them. So, why should you buy this model, and not a lower model? What are the main differences? Well, this model is capable of displaying 1080P 24fps(frames per second) at 24hz(the refresh rate of the pic). What this means, is that it is a perfect match for Blu-ray. Most films are shot in 24fps 24hz. If the tv can't display that, it must Change the signal to it's natural resolution to display the film. Regular tv doesn't run at 1080P 24 fps, only Blu-Ray films. So, this tv is for serious movie buffs only who will be playing plenty of Blu-Ray films. If you only want to watch tv, or dvd, you can easily get a lower model, such as the V10. And also 3d is great and i feel better then other 2 tvs i check out which were sammy 8000 and sony.Right know Tv is down to 3900 with bundle that includes 2-3 pair of glasses 2 movies and bluray player great deal thanks 6th ave ele. Hopefully this tv will last me at least 7yrs. But once again the best tv out for under 4500 hands down.

Sharp Aquos LC42D65U 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review
I bought this Sharp Aquos LC42D65U 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTV two weeks before Christmas, on a very tight budget. (My wife's money) I work in AV industry (commercial project and installation) and I was tired of working with stuff that was so out of my budget. I have been using the previous version of 52 ', and it looked really great. The picture on the Sharp Aquos LC42D65U 42 "is very sharp.
The inputs are sufficient. Even including RS232 and USB port for firmware updates.HDMI is the Wazoo. All inputs are located in a very accessible location. Includes TV control buttons on the right side of the faceplate. The "frame" bezel, rocks! I hate on a large, polished, bezel distraction that often flat Panal investigated. It is a thin layer of hard lines. Very professional. Why not a real big TV, the picture quality on the game?
However, I was more concerned that most of the other models were Aquos 120Hz. Blu-Rayand gaming, were the priority in my final decision on what to buy. The standard for Blu-Ray is 1080p/24Hz. Your item! Killer refresh! Great performance! Especially when used with a Blu-Ray Aquos. Oh, yes, I loved the combination works, not only among themselves (via "Aquos Link"), but is also one of the cheapest 1080p Blu-Ray Combo $ 975.00 $ 200.00. I have what I wanted to "fix" without. The absence of the 5th Star on my review was for sound. Kinda stinks.Although not so bad, I would not recommend this anyone. Most of all flat-panel speakers stink. Sharp Aquos LC42D65U I love this TV independent. I wold recommend it to anyone.
Sharp Aquos LC42D65U 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTV Feature
The AQUOS LC42D65U sets a new standard for large flat screen televisions. With Full HD 1080p resolution and an elegant new design, it produces a breathtaking picture quality that is unmatched. The LC42D65U utilizes Sharp's proprietaryAdvanced Super View / Black TFT Panel with Spectral Contrast Engine, providing high dynamic contrast ratio, 6 ms response time and wide viewing angles (176? H x 176? V). The LC42D65U is HDTV Integrated ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners and include 5 HDMI? Inputs, compatible with 1080p signals, and 2 HD 1080p component video inputs. This tv could not be any better. But then again the 9000series(not wall mountable)is the bigger better choice and a viewing masterpiece of color, depth and true picture quality. Tv this good should be framed. Yes and the c8000 is just that framed, it has an awesome frame very thin brushed stainless with clear tasteful glaze over the stainless that sits flush sank down into... What is this? This is not that normal crappy touch of color you typically see on a very good portion of monitors and some lcd tvs, this is the use of acrylic at its best, this is a great product, i really enjoy the samsung c8000 cant wait to hang it on my wall, i have lots of ideas to hide the wires, i am a tv installer semi professional, been doin' it for years, and this is very easy to install tv, might require two people "if elderly" un-boxing and setup first time in order not to damage very expensive tv, i personally recomend using samsung wall mount kit, or cheaper versions, specific for this tv, also i like to use 1/4"(zip toggles) not ordinary toggles for bolting mounts to wall, dont much like to use any other type of mounting method for drywall, repeat, zip toggles, check em' out. 8000series = awesome tv. samsung hit right on the button with this one, love at last. unless something happens to it, i would hate to have been one of those people who recieved a lousy product and had to return a few bumbling times later you finally got the one you can settle with. fortunatly mine arrived safe and sound, had it a few months now, havent had to clean it, it stays clean right out the box. What a eyegasm this tv is. One of samsung best products. Makes my ugly wall look surprisingly more ugly, but the tv makes my house nearly ready for cribs.

This was a great value. Samsung has really improved the plasma tv quality exceeding the quality over the latest LED/LCD lineup. There is nothing better on the market today at this price point. Amazon was wonderful to deal with. The representatives that I called to help track and expedite the order were immensely helpful. Both Amazon reps and I had to call the forwarder and carrier multiple times to ensure the e.t.a. was met. But in the end, we got it on time. The T.V. was connected after the delivery by my friend and very quickly we realized that the T.V. does emit a very discernable high pitch buzzing/hissing sound after power-up. He put the ferrite cores around the power cord as suggested in manual and it made no difference. When you have the t.v. on at normal volume levels, you barely hear the noise. We hope it does not get worse. But the picture quality is awesome. Blue Ray, Direct TV and 3D sources never looked better. Getting this product from Amazon made so much sense. The local retailers who offer this product were more expensive and had much longer lead times for delivery. I had some concern with ordering such an expensive and large item from Amazon. But believe me, I am sold. Amazon is the way to go. If you have any concerns or issues, the service reps are excellent. Each one has a consistent level of knowledge and capability. And, it is very fast to get connected to a live rep. 5 stars for Amazon.

Been in the market for a new Master Bedroom HDTV since our 30" HD CRT broke (yay!). Been following this model (PN50C490) since it was announced recently. I found a great deal at a local B&M store the week this was released (2 free pair of 3D glasses included) for the same price as elsewhere. I've been watching this plasma for over a week, and just love it!
We feed it HD service from DirecTV and it looks stunning. Realistic colors and very dark blacks, no ghosting on sports (it is a plasma after all), and we love the upgrade in the size (30" to 50") as viewed from 12-15 feet away in bed. The 2D picture quality beats the old CRT and even our main DLP set in the family room. DirecTV has a few 3D channels, so those were demoed immediately. The X-Games replay looked awesome. I think most sports are recorded in 720p anyway, so there was no loss of quality on this 720p set. I was able to watch the football games this weekend in a pseudo 3D upscale (I'm calling it 2.5D). It certainly did something to the picture, and I liked it. It really added some depth that made the game more enjoyable to watch. Not quite as good as a proper 3D broadcast or actually being there in person, but given the little bit of 3D programming available, the 2.5D conversion was pretty impressive and worked on demand.
No eye strain noticed when wearing the glasses as I was able to watch 3 hours of football without issue. Waiting for the PS3 firmware update to try some 3D Blu-rays on this set, but I don't think that there will be any issues in the 720p versus 1080p resolutions. I'll try to post an update on PS3 3D gaming impressions as well (which Sony limits to 720p anyway). Overall, I am VERY impressed with the 2D quality of this set. Love the size improvement for our master bedroom given our viewing distances. And both 2.5D and 3D viewing was great at 720p. From what I have seen, there is nothing to worry about this set not being 1080p. Just pull the trigger, buy it, and enjoy the money you'll be saving over the competition.

Cheap Samsung UN55C7000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV (Black) Discount Review Shop
I like the Samsung in general. The sound quality is not great - no room for room-facing speakers. I haven't used all the features yet (like the 3d), just got it installed - which was not easy. The screen really should NOT be touched. Even your fingertip will leave a mark and the cleaner sold at Frye's in Auburn, WA was .00. Samsung recommends water only, but I have a friend who damaged a flat screen trying to clean it, so be careful. I can't get the remote working well, sometimes the TV comes on and not the cable and vice versa. There must be a fix for that, but I don't know about it yet. We have some tiling in the picture every time we watch. We are shopping for a sound bar. This was our first big purchase through Amazon and the process and service was flawless. I would recommend Amazon to anyone and not just for books. We will be buying a sound bar from Amazon. Love them.

Optoma HD66 3D Projector, Great for Wii, PlayStation, and Xbox for $639.99
Cheap Optoma HD66 3D Projector, Great for Wii, PlayStation, and Xbox Discount Review Shop
This is my second projector, the first being about 7 years old.
This Optima is amazing - I use it with a 104 inch screen in a multi-media family room not dedicated to home theater. My use is in partial light, and with 2,500 lumens, this Optima HD66 blasts through the ambient light without a problem. Just watched a college football game starting @ noon in HD and we're amazed with the quality and enjoyment of the game.
Highly recommend for the quality and the price.
John
