I received my tv by the begining of April(yeah! about a little over a month ago)so within 2 weeks once I turned the tv off the light stay blinking for a while,on the third week on some channels the image started to freeze and it turned off by itself,when I turned it back on I could hear the tv but it was pitch black until a round 20sec later,o.k. then more channels were getting to freeze and within the 4th week of having my brand new tv I wasn't able to see anything, so I paid over a little over a 1,000 with taxes and delivery for a piece of trash.If I called where I bouhgt it? yes indeed, but guess what?The tv has warranty for 1 year "lucky me" so I had to contact Mtsubshit and they said the problem was the lamp so they send me a new one and wallaaaah! my tv isn't working yet, so now they contact some tv tecnitian near me that is suppose to call me "maybe today" so here I'm stuck with my brand new tv and I'm guessing that I'm going to be like this until the warranty runs out and then they 'll tell me "sorry there's nothig we can do for you" So if you feel like throwing your money away buy one of this tv's, no wonder they're so cheap compare to a really good tv.How I rated this product? Really good, amazingly good but to smash it on the middle of the street and break it in a million pieces.It saves you lot's of energy"of course it's always off",picture quality black "once you go black never go back"(yeap) all black,sound incredible, you could hear everything but the tv,and last but not least if you got good imagination you 'll be able to play all kind of game system.

Look at LCD or plasma in the 60"+ size range and the prices sky rocket, thats an area that DLP shines. As long as you understand its quirks of DLP you can walk a way with a steal.

Setup was straight forward, practically had it working the second I plug in the power cord. It detected all of my connected sources, including my digital out connection to the receiver and switched to that output automatically.

I have sat on the floor, stood in front of it and walked around the tv and the dimming/darkening of the screen is only noticeable at the extremes, that being sitting directly in front of the tv or literally to the side of it.

My only complaint is that we didn't go bigger. We had decided on a 42"-47" LCD until we saw one of these in the store and then knew what we had to get. So we had already upsized but I am sure the 73" would of been even better.

One note, the main difference between the C9 and 737 series is some extra video settings in the Picture menu. You can find them under the advanced setup screen on the C9s as well, so save some money and stick with the C9."

I bought this tv from Best Buy about 7 or 8 months ago for 9.99...I was shocked @ the price and we jumped on that one day sale. It was not refurbished or anything...it was smack brand new from Best Buy....with free shipping and we received the tv to our house like 3 days later (including the weekend)...it was set up and all...I love the tv and we watch it occassionally in our game room! Its great!

I just want to say that this TV is wonderful and the service from Amazon was first rate! I originally ordered the WD-65C9 and was able to choose my delivery time about 9 days out was the soonest. I then realized that day that this model went down in price and would fit better in my family room. So I called Amazon and they were able to cancel the order and then I proceeded to order this model. The shipping was excellent as I was able to schedule the delivery for 3 days out. The TV was handled by Pilot Freight and it was top notch they brought the TV inside and unboxed and set it up on my TV stand and turned it on to verify operation. I never expected all that for free shipping I thought that service cost extra but not in this case. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
